It’s roundup time! This Saturday morning we’ll be gathering up the cows and calves for a quick check-up—tagging, deworming, and making sure everyone’s in good shape.
If you’ve got a horse or mule that’s been around cattle and you’d like to ride, meet us at the pasture entrance at 10:00 AM sharp.
No ride? No problem. If you’d rather help on the ground, we’d love to have you—just head over to the holding pen in the cow pasture once the herd is in.

We could really use a few extra pairs of hands this Friday to clean up trail and to cut a new one. Its a great excuse to be outside, get a little dirt on your boots, and be a part of something everyone can enjoy all season long.
If you've got shears or pruners, bring them along - but if not, just bring yourself!
If you can make it, le us know by dropping a message on the Boarders and Insiders Facebook page.
We appreciate it more than you know - this place needs folks like you!

With spring comes one of our favorite seasons - baby season. brand new calves are already on the ground here, and the mamas are doing a great job of keeping them fed, cleaned and occasionally chased back in the right direction.
Nothing says spring at the farm quite like wobbly legs and very cute noses.

Great news! The indoor arena has been lengthened, complete with new rails and posts, and new footing installed. This arena is so good it practically begs for beautiful transitions - beautifully maintained, thoughtfully designed, and big enough for riders of all disciplines to school, have fun, and chase their next breakthrough. Please refer to Flintrock Boarders and Insiders on Facebook for information on what is permitted in the indoor.

We are pleased to announce that our beautifully renovated lower pen is now open!
With refreshed footing, new fencing, modern amenities, and an attached cattle holding area, the space supports both Western and English riders as well as livestock. The facility is ready to host clinics in 2026 and 2027, providing valuable learning in a quality environment.

The new logo features Flintrock's well-known American Quarter Horse stallion, Star Encounter in silhouette. It also features the farm's brand and established date. Look for it to be featured on hats and hoodies this fall!
